Holly Springs High School

This school year, Holly Springs High School, a sparsely populated school located in the high-poverty region of Northern Mississippi, will offer Advanced Placement Calculus for the first time.

With the Vernier grant, the school will gain the technology needed to help students in this AP course, along with other math and science courses offered at the school, and build a deeper level of understanding for oftentimes abstract concepts in a fun, relevant, and engaging way. The hope is that students will be inspired to then pursue math, science, and technology in college and beyond.
