Spectroscopy
Array spectrometer technology allows you to collect a full wavelength spectrum (absorbance, percent transmittance, or intensity) in less than one second. Once the peak wavelength is determined, you can easily determine the concentration of a solution (Beer’s law) or monitor rates of reaction.
Biotechnology Spectroscopy
Choose the spectrometer that is right for your biotechnology classroom. Use our SpectroVis Plus spectrophotometer to quickly conduct colorimetric assays, investigate enzyme kinetics, or construct growth curves. With its two different excitation wavelengths, you can also quantitatively measure the fluorescence spectra of fluorescein, GFP. If you need an ultraviolet spectrometer (e.g., to perform 260/280 ratios) choose the Red Tide UV-VIS.
