If you want to collect real-world data with a calculator, you can use any TI graphing calculator. For the middle-school curriculum, we recommend the TI-73 Explorer. For high school science or math, we recommend the TI-84 Plus or the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. For calculus or engineering at the high school or college level, we recommend the TI-89 Titanium.
