Multiple probe incompatibility
« on: November 15, 2009, 10:18:29 AM »

We intend to use conductivity or salinity (depending on conditions), pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen and turbidity.  We intend to use 4 sensors at once with program LabPro 3.8.

Among the sensors mentioned, are there any known sensor compatibility problems?

Can we connect 2 LabPros to a single laptop at the same time, and would we then launch 2 instances of LoggerPro on the one laptop?

We will also have 1 LabQuest in use. Did any limitations exist regarding the above items.

Yes, there are compatibility problems with the sensors you mention. No combination of Conductivity, Salinity, pH, and DO can be used at the same time on the same system. That includes two interfaces if they are connected to the same computer. You will need to take the readings one at a time, I'm afraid.
