Physics Lab Book
« on: March 17, 2008, 07:29:33 AM »

Hi,
I have the Physics With Computers Second Edition (Copyright 2000) lab manual.  Is there an advantage to purchasing the newest edition (which, I believe is now called Physics With Vernier - PWV), or is it essentially the same?

We use LabPro mostly with TI Calcs, but occasionally with LoggerPro as well on the PC.

Thanks

The biggest change in the new edition of our books is that all of the "___ with Vernier" books include lab instructions for doing the labs with our LabQuest interface in stand-alone mode. We also changed some of the experiment numbers so that each lab would have the same number in each version of the experiment.

If you own an older version of the book, you may request an updated CD at no charge. If you would like a new printed copy, you will need to purchase a new copy.
