I have installed the software and driver so far and have had few issues that have been solved. The problem is that when I have a lab pro plugged in and the software running, it says No Device Connected. I am fairly hew to logger pro and would appreciate any input. I am using a dell latitude 640 and 600.

What version of Linux are you running? We only support the versions listed below...

Hi. I also had latitude 640s that were having the same problems. which version of linux are you running? I had the same problem when I was running ubuntu 8.10. I simply upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 and that solved the problem. Good luck!

Great! Glad that solved the problem. In general, Ubuntu 9.04 seems to be quite an improvement over the 8.x versions.

sorry I haven't responded, I upgraded months ago and it solved all of my problems, except that the video import in the windows version is not in the Linux version. also the problem was caused by a incompatible Linux kernel being used.

No, video analysis is not supported in LoggerPro Linux. Sorry about that -- maybe a future version.

I have just installed loggerpro on an asus EEE netbook running ubuntu 9.10. I cannot connect the labpro interface. It claims that no device is connected and will not connect though all cables are connceted and the interface is plugged in. I have tried powering down, restarting plugging and plugging cables but am still unable to connect the interface. When I try to connect the sensor it "sees" the temperature probe, but of course there are no temp readings. Help?
