Runs on a flash drive
« on: October 05, 2009, 08:42:48 AM »

Just got my hands on a couple 4 gig flash drives ($8 each) and have installed Ubu and LPL on it with no problems.  Of course, you need a computer that will boot from USB, but this offers a convenient way to try Linux and LPL without installing it to a hard drive first.  I only wish my old Thinkpad R32s would boot this way; it would save a lot of install time.
