1. Standing Waves Using the New Vernier Power Amplifier
Join David Vernier as he demonstrates some activities you can do
with our new Power Amplifier. This video looks at the the creation
of standing waves on a string and powering a light.

2. Rate Law Determination of Crystal Violet Reaction
Watch as Dan Holmquist, Vernier's chemistry expert, guides you
through Experiment 30 from Chemistry with Vernier. Using LabQuest
and the Vernier SpectroVis, students will observe the reaction
between crystal violet and sodium hydroxide.

3. Enzyme Action: Testing Catalase Activity
This popular AP and General Biology lab is demonstrated by
Gretchen Stahmer Demoss. Watch this short video and see how to
measure the amount of oxygen produced when hydrogen peroxide
is destroyed by an enzyme catalase.

4. LabQuest 1.2 Update Available
If you are using a LabQuest, we recommend that you update to
version 1.2. This new operating system and LabQuest App is a
major update for LabQuest. LabQuest 1.2 supports new sensors,
including the Vernier Global Positioning System (GPS) Sensor,
Wide-Range Temperature Probe, and Power Amplifier. Additional
software features include FFT graphs, audio output with beats, and
a delta calculation tool. LabQuest 1.2 works with our Lab Creator
and Lab Organizer web tools, allowing you to customize which labs
are embedded on your LabQuests. LabQuest 1.2 is a free update
for all users of LabQuest.

5. Logger Pro 3.7 Update Available
Logger Pro 3.7 is the latest version of our award-winning,
data-collection software. This new version adds support for the
Vernier GPS sensor (with UTM units, speed, and bearing columns),
the Wide-Range Temperature Probe, and the Digital Control Unit
(when used with a LabQuest). Other improved features include
time-of-day graphing, interpolation, extrapolation, and file transfer
between Logger Pro and LabQuest. Logger Pro 3.7 supports 64-bit
Windows Vista computers and is a free update for all
users of Logger Pro 3. Also, check out the Linux version!
