SensorDAQ with LabVIEW Downloads
We have created installers to place the SensorDAQ LabVIEW files into the proper LabVIEW directory locations. There are installers for LabVIEW 8.x, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. The installer will not work with other versions of LabVIEW.
After the installer has run, a SensorDAQ palette of VIs will appear in the LabVIEW functions palette. In addition, examples for SensorDAQ will be located in the NI Example Finder.
Note: The SensorDAQ installer will also automatically install the LabVIEW files for the Vernier LabQuest and Go! devices. SensorDAQ requires NI DAQmx version 9.4 or newer.
Installation Instructions
- Download the installer for your operating system and LabVIEW version.
- Unzip/Extract the download.
- Open the installer file to automatically install the LabVIEW files.
- Start LabVIEW.
- Choose Find Examples from the Help menu.
- Select Directory Structure in the upper-left corner. From the list of folders, choose Vernier.
- Browse the examples.
- Open a Blank VI.
- Go to the block diagram by choosing Show Block Diagram from the Window menu.
- Click and drag the Analog Express VI from the Vernier LabQuest or SensorDAQ palette to the block diagram workspace.
- Plug an analog sensor into the interface and confirm the reading.
