Introduction

In this activity, you will race a car down a ramp. The fastest car will be the one that reaches the highest velocity going down the ramp. Velocity will be measured with a Motion Detector.

Objectives

In this experiment, you will

  • Prepare a car for a race.
  • Measure velocity using a Motion Detector.
  • Determine the fastest car in your class.
