Vernier Engineering Contest Application

This engineering contest honors instructors of engineering and STEM using Vernier sensors and NI LabVIEW.

About the Award

To recognize creative teaching using Vernier sensors and LabVIEW, Vernier hosts a contest for high school and college teachers; one award will be granted for high school and one for college.

Prizes

Prizes will include $1,000 in cash, a $3,000 gift certificate for Vernier technology, and $1,500 toward expenses to attend the 2013 American Society for Engineering Education conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

How to Apply

High school and college instructors interested in this grant must submit a written project summary and a video showing creative ways to use Vernier sensors with NI LabVIEW software. Teachers at eligible schools may submit up to three entries. Grant applications are due January 15, 2013.
