Analog Data Collection
A powerful, and widely used programming architecture used in LabVIEW VIs is the state machine. We have used this structure to build a program for analog probes. The features of this program include: collecting data in real time, saving data to file, fast analog data collection, data analysis, and storing data on graph for comparing experimental runs. We have included the final "Advanced" program (with all of these features) for those who simply want to download and run. For those who would like to customize or add events with programming of their own, become more familiar with the state machine, or even demonstrate a programming progression to students, we have also included a "Beginner" and "Intermediate" program (showing a progression of adding events). In addition, you can go to the Linux Applications page to download an application of this program that has been created for Linux. Note - The use of USB requires that you have a proper USB driver. For Macintosh and Windows users, this driver is installed when you install Logger Pro 3.2. For Windows users, there is also the option of downloading the USB driver separately or download our software development kit (SDK), which includes the USB driver. |
