Drop Counter Application

If you don't have Logger Pro 3.3 or newer, the Drop Counter software allows you to collect data simultaneously from an analog sensor, such as a pH Sensor, and a Vernier Drop Counter. It plots the analog data against the number of drops or milliliters of titrant. The most common use for this would be in an acid-base titration. A pH Sensor measures the pH of the solution after each drop of titrant passes through the Vernier Drop Counter. Although this program was designed with titrations in mind, it can easily be used for other experiments where data collection of the same type is required. Drop Counter software requires a Vernier LabPro® interface with an analog sensor and a Drop Counter.

These stand-alone applications are software programs (developed with LabVIEW software) that work with the Vernier LabPro. They contain all of the features and functionality as described above. To run, all you need is the free LabVIEW 6.1 Run-Time Engine installed on your computer. The Windows and Linux versions of this application require a serial connection to the LabPro. The Macintosh version will work with either a USB or serial connection.
