LabPro QuickStart
These examples demonstrate how to program the major functions of the LabPro with the use of a minimal number of Express VIs or subVIs. Samples include:
-
Real time (RT) data collection
Data is collected at regular intervals and available on a point-by-point basis. -
Non-real time (NRT) data collection
Data is collected and stored in LabPro until requested by the host. -
Direct digital output
Turn the DCU's digital line(s) on and off. -
Digital output sequence
Send a pattern of outputs to the DCU; great for controlling stepper and servo motors. -
Single data point collection
Collect a single data point. This is an easy way to mix analog input with digital or analog output. -
Analog output
Control the LabPro's analog output lines and built-in function generator.
The examples utilize our Express VIs and are a great place to start. The programs are documented and extremely basic. They are meant as a simple way to learn what LabPro can do, test and troubleshoot your hardware, and to use as a starting point when creating your own custom programs.
