Interfaces for Apple II Computers

Voltage Plotter and Voltage Input Unit: Our Voltage Input Unit and Voltage Plotter program provide the least expensive way to collect data with an Apple II or IBM-compatible computer. The Voltage Input Unit (VIU) connects to the game port and has a single input that accepts a wide variety of probes, including pH, pressure, and temperature. The Voltage Plotter program collects, graphs, and analyzes the signals. Real-time graphs can be made as data are collected. |
Calibration files are provided for each sensor so the proper values, labels, and units are displayed. For example, if you have our pH measurement system, you can load a pH calibration file quickly and start pH measurements. You can calibrate and save calibrations on disk as well.![]() A Voltage Input Unit can be a great, low-cost way to do lab interfacing in chemistry and physical science classes. Our Chemistry with Computers and Physical Science with Computers book include many student-ready labs designed to be done using a VIU. The VIU is normally sold assembled and tested. If you or your students would like to assemble them from a parts kit, contact us for additional pricing information.
