MultiPurpose Lab Interface

Software for use with the MPLI.
Sensors for use with the MPLI.

Before we developed our new LabPro interface, the MultiPurpose Lab Interface (MPLI) was our best way to turn your IBM computer into a powerful laboratory instrument. MPLI allows you to use a wide variety of sensors to make measurements and to analyze and graph the results. Three input signals can be monitored simultaneously. Data can be collected at a rate of thousands of samples per second (fast enough to allow you to display sound wave patterns) or slowly over periods as long as several weeks.

PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Interface Board
Industry-standard (ISA) board with a 12-bit, 3-input, analog-to-digital converter. The maximum data-collection rate is 75,000+ per second. Three software selectable ranges are supported. Analog output and digital I/O lines are also available.
MultiPurpose Lab Interface Box for IBM
Includes three 8-pin DIN sockets (Channels A, B, and C) that allow quick connection to a wide range of sensors. Inside the box is a 16-pin DIP socket for use by experimenters and a prototyping area where circuits can be built.
ORDERING INFORMATION:
The MPLI is no longer available.
It has been replaced by our current generation of data-collection interfaces.
*MPLI Package (including a 12-bit interface board, MPLI Interface Box, cable test leads, and MPLI Program with extensive manual)
