Earn Graduate Credit

Attend a Vernier workshop that is four hours or longer and you qualify to enroll for graduate credit from Portland State University.

Eligible Vernier workshops include:

• Data-Collection Workshops
• Summer Workshops
• Workshops at Vernier
• Workshops at Your School
• Subject-Specific Workshops

Portland State University's Center for Science Education offers 2 quarter credit hours (1-1/3 semester hours) in Graduate Science at a cost of approximately $70 per quarter credit hour (payable to PSU).

Graduate Credit Requirements
Graduate credit will be awarded to participants who attend a workshop four or more hours in duration and who elect to complete a follow-up project using Vernier sensors. A brief lesson plan and a description of how you plan to integrate this project into your curriculum will be required.

Continuing Education Credit
Are you required to collect Continuing Education Credits? We gladly provide documentation of your hours of attendance at a Vernier workshop. If you are interested in receiving Continuing Education Credit, be sure to sign in with the Vernier presenter.
