Radiation Monitors
The Digital Radiation Monitor consists of a Geiger-Mueller tube and a digital rate meter mounted in a small, rugged, plastic case. The unit is battery operated and can be used with or without a computer for measurement of alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. It can be used to explore radiation statistics, measure the rate of nuclear decay, and monitor radon progeny. |

Interface Compatibility NotesAll radiation monitors are supported on LabQuest App version 1.1 when using LabQuest as a stand-alone interface. All radiation monitors are supported by LabQuest App 1.1 and Logger Pro 3.6.1 (available summer 2008) and newer when using a LabQuest as a computer interface. All radiation monitors are supported by LabPro. Digital radiation monitor is Auto-ID, but the feature is only supported by LabQuest App 1.1 and LabQuest App 1.1 coupled with Logger Pro 3.6.1 (available summer 2008). |
