The unit is battery operated and can be used with or without a computer for measurement of alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. It can be used to measure the total number of counts per specified timing interval. Your students can investigate topics such as shielding, inverse square law, and half-life. |

Interface Compatibility NotesAll radiation monitors are supported on LabQuest App version 1.1 when using LabQuest as a stand-alone interface. All radiation monitors are supported by LabQuest App 1.1 and Logger Pro 3.6.1 (available summer 2008) and newer when using a LabQuest as a computer interface. All radiation monitors are supported by LabPro. Digital radiation monitor is Auto-ID, but the feature is only supported by LabQuest App 1.1 and LabQuest App 1.1 coupled with Logger Pro 3.6.1 (available summer 2008). |
