SYBR® Safe DNA Stain is a new, safe alternative to ethidium bromide. It also happens to be affordable and easy to use with the Blue Digital Bioimaging System.
Post-Electrophoresis Staining
Electrophoresed gels can be placed in a plastic container, submersed in SYBR Safe DNA Gel Stain in 0.5X TBE for 30 minutes, then viewed with the Blue Digital Bioimaging System. No destaining required.
