Data Sharing Apps

Collect, Analyze, and Annotate Sensor Data with iPad® and other Mobile Devices

Lab group members collaboratively collect data from an experiment, and each student analyzes a copy of the data on an individual device. Use analysis tools in class or at home; print graphs or save data for lab reports and further analysis.

Choose a Data Sharing App

To wirelessly stream sensor data from a Data Sharing source, you can use either Graphical Analysis for iPad or the Vernier Data Share web app.

With iPad, we recommend Graphical Analysis. If your classroom has Androidâ„¢ tablets, Chromebooks, or a mix of devices, we recommend Vernier Data Share.
