Ion-Selective Electrodes
Our family of Ion-Selective Electrodes are great for monitoring four environmentally-important ions: Calcium (Ca2+), Chloride (Cl-), Ammonium (NH4+) and Nitrate (NO3-).
Calcium Ion-Selective Electrode
This Vernier Ion-Selective Electrode can be used to measure the concentration of Calcium (Ca2+) in aqueous samples.
Chloride Ion-Selective Electrode
This Vernier Ion-Selective Electrode can be used to measure the concentration of Chloride (Cl-) in aqueous samples.
Ammonium Ion-Selective Electrode
This Vernier Ion-Selective Electrode can be used to measure the concentration of Ammonium (NH4+) in aqueous samples.
Nitrate Ion-Selective Electrode
This Vernier Ion-Selective Electrode can be used to measure the concentration of Nitrate (NO3-) in aqueous samples.
ISE Modules and Standards
Ion-Selective Electrodes require good chemical technique and careful calibration to obtain accurate results. They are not recommended for middle school or elementary students.
ISE Replacement Modules are available for Ammonium, Calcium, and Nitrate Ion-Selective Electrodes. Chloride does not need a replacement module.
Important: We recommend that you do not purchase ISE replacement modules too far in advance of their expected time of use; degradation occurs while replacement modules are stored on the shelf.
