Spectrometer Comparison Graphs
The graphs below are intended to help you decide which spectrometer best fits your needs. They provide performance comparisons of four spectrometers: Vernier SpectroVis Plus, Vernier Spectrometer, Ocean Optics USB 4000, and Ocean Optics Red Tide VIS-NIR.
Four identical tests were run to illustrate the quality of data you can expect from each device. The tests include a Beer’s law curve showing linearity of absorbance vs. concentration, two absorbance spectral analyses of solutions, and an emissions spectral analysis of a helium gas discharge tube using the optional optical fibers.
