ArcExplorer Java Edition for Education (AEJEE) is ESRI’s new free mapping tool designed especially for education. Users can display standard geographic data such as shapefiles and images spanning global to local level, add XY (GPS point) data tables, analyze by classifying and querying, and stream in tons of data from the many ArcIMS servers on the Internet. AEJEE can save and open projects, even across platforms, and print or export map displays. Students can even download and use AEJEE at home, for free!
