Question

Why won‘t my new Colorimeter calibrate correctly in Logger Pro 2.x?

Answer

The new Colorimeter requires that the intercept and slope be 0 and 28.571 respectively. Any Logger Pro version before LP 2.2.1 will have values of 0 and 10. To fix the problem, you can update to a newer version of Logger Pro or manually change the intercept and slope.
The latest version of Logger Pro can be downloaded from our website at:

Here is a recommendation for connecting a new Colorimeter to a Serial Box Interface:
First, make sure that you are using Logger Pro 2.2.1.
Your options are:
1. (Recommended) Install Logger Pro 2.2.1 in the computer from the CD. This must be done for each computer that you plan to use with the Serial Box.
2. If you are unable to install LP 2.2.1 in the manner described above, then follow these steps:
a. Connect the Colorimeter to the interface and the interface to the computer.
b. Start LP 2.2.1
c. Select Calibrate from the Experiment menu.
d. In the Sensor Properties box, click the Details tab (at the top of the box).
e. Find the Unlock button and click on it.
f. Replace the displayed Slope value with: 28.571
g. Click the Lock button.
h. Click OK.
