Can I purchase a replacement thermocouple wire for my TCA-BTA sensor?

Answer

Our TCA-BTA thermocouples use type-K thermocouple wire. We now sell a replacement wire for use on our newer thermocouple as Type-K Thermocouple Wire, order code KWIRE-TCA, $7.00.

Note that this is only for our newer, "cold junction compensated" thermocouples. These newer thermocouple units have slots labelled "+" and "-" on one end of the box, where a connector with the thermocouple wire attached plugs in. The KWIRE-TCA replacement wire plugs in here.

Older Vernier thermocouples have two banana plugs on them and thermocouple wire attaches to the banana plugs. Part number KWIRE-TCA will not work on these older thermocouples. Replacement thermocouple wire for these units can be purchased from Omega Engineering and other companies. Contact us if you need more information.
