Will Vernier photogate brackets work with Pasco tracks?

The Vernier photogate brackets will work on a Pasco track with a minor modification.

The slot on the side of the pasco track is a little narrower than the slot on the side of the Vernier track. The Vernier photogate brackets have little nubs that keep the bracket upright; these nubs are too wide to fit the pasco track. If you were to trim these nubs with some clippers (or a tool known as a nibbler), the bracket would fit fine. If you went too far and removed too much, the brackets would still work OK; you'd be relying on friction to hold the bracket in place.
