Question

My photogates won't work when daisy-chained.

Answer

Some photogates shipped before June 14 07, but near that date, exhibit a manufacturing defect.

These gates will function properly individually, but will always display as blocked when in daisy-chain mode, when used with any interface.

If you use these photogates on a LabQuest, they will work fine as single photogates but in addition they will AutoID strangely (and not work) when daisy chained.

If you have photogates that do this, please contact us for a free repair.
