Which printers are supported in LabQuest?

We support HP printers connected via USB cable on LabQuest 1 and 2, from LabQuest 1 via the Vernier WiFi USB adapter (WIFI-USB), and from LabQuest 2 via the built-in WiFi, however not all HP printers are compatible. There are two lists here: compatible printers and not-compatible printers. We will be adding printers as they are tested. This list applies to LabQuest version 1.6 and newer, which you may download at
http://www.vernier.com/labquest/updates/, and to LabQuest 2.0.

Note that this list applies only when printing directly from LabQuest App (via USB or WiFi); you may print to other printers (including the printers listed as Not Compatible) from within Logger Pro running on a computer that is connected to a LabQuest.

Unknown Compatiblity: All other HP printers may work with LabQuest, but we have not been able to test them.

What to do if your printer does not work:

Is your printer an HP model? Only HP printers work with LabQuest.

Printing via USB cable? Be sure that you are using the correct USB cable, TIL 1797: How do I connect LabQuest to a printer?

Printing via WiFi? Have you already connected to a WiFi access point or directly to the WiFi printer using the Control Panel/Networks tool before trying to print?

Have you checked your version of LabQuest and updated to the latest version here: http://www.vernier.com/labquest/updates/

When you get the warning that the printer is not supported, tap on the Home icon at the bottom of the screen, tap on Control Panel, and then tap on Printers. Select your printer from the Available Printers list and tap the Show Details button. Copy all of the details into an email, and send it to info@vernier or call for Tech Support at 888-837-6437. (You need LabQuest version 1.4 or newer to see the details.)

Please describe that your printer does not work with LabQuest and include the details you copied from the warning message. We will try to find an answer for you.
