First test:
Check to see if you have an original Go! Link. The old units are labeled "Go! Link" and the newer style read "Go! Link by Vernier."

Some older units had problems with current draw which causes the sensors to auto-ID incorrectly. For example, the 25-g Accelerometer, order code ACC-BTA, $92, will auto-ID incorrectly on an old Go! Link.

Second test:
If you have the newer style labeled "Go! Link by Vernier," try one of the following sensors as a test:

-The Stainless Steel Temperature Probe, order code TMP-BTA, $29, will either auto-ID as a Heart Rate Monitor or will not auto-ID at all
-The Gas Pressure Sensor, order code GPS-BTA, $83, will auto-ID correctly, however, the value will be incorrect and may steadily increase
-The Dual-Range Force Sensor, order code DFS-BTA, $109, will not auto-ID

If the sensor yields the described results, then contact Vernier Technical Support at 1.888.837.6437 to arrange a repair.

If you do not have one of these sensors, then contact Vernier Technical Support at 1.888.837.6437 for additional trouble-shooting.
