Question

How can I install Logger Pro to several computers? Is there an MSI file or a silent installer?

Answer

With each new version of Logger Pro for Windows, we always create a silent version of our installer. This is functionally equivalent to an MSI file and lets you push the software to multiple computers easily. If you setup a login script to run the .exe file, the installer runs unattended. You can run it from a .bat file, login script, or any other way that is convenient for you. The only command that is needed is to open the installer file, and allow it to run with administrator privileges.

This method has been very popular with IT managers. The silent installer is not included on the Logger Pro CD, but is available for download upon request. Note that password #2 is only used to unzip the installer. Once unzipped, the resulting .exe no longer requires a password.
