Collecting data with the DataQuest App
For TI-Nspire CXII, CX, Touchpad and Clickpad handhelds and computer software, you will use the Vernier DataQuest App. This application is built into the TI-Nspire operating system and software (v3.0 or newer).

Connecting a TI-Nspire Lab Cradle, CBR 2, Go!Motion, EasyTemp, Go!Temp, or EasyLink to a TI-Nspire handheld (or computer running the Nspire software) will automatically launch the DataQuest App. The application can also be launched from the Home menu or the document insert menu.

Using other TI-Nspire applications
For data collection with other TI-Nspire Apps (Graphs and Geometry, Lists and Spreadsheets, and Data and Statistics), data collection is controlled using the Sensor Console. The Sensor Console is a special meter view of the DataQuest application that appears on the bottom of the screen. The Sensor Console will allow you to view sensor readings, set up data-collection parameters, start/stop data collection, and store data runs.

The Sensor Console can be added manually by pressing [CTRL]+[D] or by using the document insert menu. When the Console is added, the application(s) on the page will automatically be adjusted to display collected data.
