Does the AIPTEK HD camera work with with Logger Pro?

Answer

Yes. The AIPTEK A-HD 720P digital camcorder has been tested with Logger Pro.

This camera is an inexpensive HD-qualified camera that records to SD card. It does not stream live video to a computer. The camera creates files on the SD card which are .mov files that can be opened by Quicktime.

Video quality is moderate. Frame rate is 30 fps. As of this writing (Feb 2008), the shutter speed cannot be adjusted. With bright lights the shutter speed may be fast enough for physics, although this has not been tested.
