ProScope software sees the iSight image instead of the ProScope.

This is most likely to happen when you use an older ProScope (not HR) on an Intel Mac. Unfortunately, the M2/Scalar Scope/ ProScope will not work with Intel based Macs. Bodelin Technologies, maker of the ProScope, now produces a newer version of the ProScope called the ProScope HR. The ProScope HR has 4 times the resolution of the previous model and a full-screen mode.
