Question

Can I use 2 motion detectors with my Vernier Interface?

Answer

If you are using a LabPro, you can use it with 2 motion detectors. There have been some minor bugs reported, so for best results we suggest you get the latest operating system update for your LabPro. Updates are available from our web site at http://www.vernier.com/calc/flash.html

If you are using a ULI II you must have ULI EPROM 1.4 or newer. You must also be using Logger Pro (version 1.2 or newer) as your data collection software. If you have an older EPROM, all you need to order is EPROM upgrade for ULI II (order code EPROM2). If you are familiar with installing chips into bread boards, they are very easy to install. If you are not comfortable with this, you can send your ULI IIs back to us, and we will do the installation for free.

The original ULI (clear plastic top) will not work with 2 Motion Detectors.

The CBL and CBL2 only have one Sonic Port and can only use a single Motion Detector.
