The newer CO2 Gas Sensor with the 0-10,000 ppm and 0-100,000 ppm ranges is not supported by the original Go!Link. Check to see if you are using the original Go!Link. (The original Go!Link label simply says Go!Link while the newer version says Go!Link by Vernier.)

The original Go!Link does not support any CO2 Sensor, old style or new style. The issue is that the original Go!Link does not supply enough current for the sensor to ID correctly. You will need to use either the newer style Go!Link, LabPro, LabQuest, or LabQuest Mini with a CO2 sensor.

Note: The older style CO2 sensor (0-5,000 ppm range) is not supported by either version of Go!Link.
