TROUBLESHOOTING

- Primary Test: Connect to LabQuest or computer's USB, make sure the software is new enough (see requirements below), go outside, and wait for enough satellites to be acquired to give a reasonable latitude and longitude. This could take up to 5 min the first time (or 30 min with an original VGPS).

WHICH VERSION OF THE VGPS DO I HAVE?
- The original VGPS was shipped up until June 2010. There is no serial number on the label on the back.
- The MTK VGPS began shipping in June 2010. There is a serial number on the label on the back.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

- Original VGPS requires LQA 1.2 and LP 3.7.
- MTK VGPS requires LQA 1.4 and LP 3.8.3.
