Why is the Logger Pro installer asking me for a password?

The Logger Pro for Windows updater file (available in the downloads section of our web site) can also function as a full installer. If the updater finds an older version of Logger Pro, it will remove the older version and installer the new version.

If the updater fails to find an old version of Logger Pro, it will prompt you for the password. Once the password is provided, the install will proceed as normal.

If you need the update password, please send an e-mail to info@vernier.com with the name of your school and any other info that would help us verify your school's purchase of the program.

You can also create an account on our web site that lets download Logger Pro any time or email the links to students as needed. Free to people who already own Logger Pro at:
