How do I install password-protected software from the Vernier web site?

Answer

1. Download the file. To do this, click the link in the email you received from Vernier Software to begin downloading our software.
-- If you are asked what you want to do with the file, save the file to your computer. Depending on the configuration of your computer, you may be be able to choose the location where the file will be downloaded. Choose a location that will be easy to find, such as your desktop.

2. Begin installation. If the file doesn't automatically begin to install, double-click the file to begin installation. You may receive a security warning. Click continue to run the installation.

3. Complete installation. Follow the setup wizard steps to complete the software installation. If you are asked for a password, refer to the e-mail you received from Vernier for the password. Depending on how your computer is configured, you may also need the administrator password to install the software.
