Symptom:

When the Logger Pro installer is run, the Logger Pro 3 folder is updated but no Logger Pro application is installed.

This is a slightly obscure installation problem that only affects users who install Logger Pro (any version), and then rename or move the Logger Pro folder, and subsequently re-install or update Logger Pro.

In this case the installer will update the internals of the moved copy of Logger Pro, apparently not installing the application at all in the expected location.

There is an interaction between the Logger Pro installer and Snow Leopard, or Mac OS X 10.6.

To get out of this state, remove all copies of Logger Pro from the computer before reinstalling Logger Pro. It is helpful to use Spotlight to search for copies in obscure locations.
