When some versions of the Vernier GPS dongle are connected to a Mac running OS X 10.6, a spurious dialog is generated, reading

A new network interface has been detected.

Click Cancel to continue. The dialog does not affect use of the GPS. The dialog comes from the operating system and not Logger Pro.
