Why don't curve fits work properly in Logger Pro for Linux?

If Logger Pro for Linux is installed over a network, some of the associated support file permissions may not be set properly. This results in Logger Pro not being able to access a file that it needs to display the curve fit dialog.

This problem can be resolved by manually setting the permissions as follows:

sudo chmod -R 777 /usr/local/share/LoggerPro/Linux/*
