TROUBLESHOOTING
- Primary Test:
Make sure you are using a current version of the software.
Software Requirements:
Logger Pro: 3.8.5 or newer
LabQuest App: 1.6 or newer
Connect the two Vernier Polarimeter cables to their respective ports on your Vernier interface. Start the data-collection program and choose New from the File menu. NOTE: In Logger Pro, wait until a graph of Illumination (rel) on the y-axis and Angle (°) on the x-axis appears before continuing. Start data collection and rotate the analyzer, a cosine squared wave should appear on the graph and both the illumination and angle readings should change.
**If you are using a LabPro interface, please refer to these additional instructions:
TIL 2597: I'm using a LabPro as my data collection interface for the Chemical Polarimeter. Do I need to follow any special instructions?
