Windows only. If you initially installed from the silent (msi) installer and attempt to reinstall from the downloadable installer, or initially install from the CD, and then attempt to reinstall from the download, (or vice versa,) you will get an error message that says "Error 1316.A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file XXXXX" Note that you won't see this problem with upgrades, (going from Logger Pro version 3.8.5 to 3.8.6,) only if you are attempting to go from different installation media (CD, download, or silent) for the same Logger Pro version, (3.8.6 to 3.8.6.)

The solution to this problem is to either use the same installation method as you used the first time you installed, or to uninstall Logger Pro manually from the Windows control panel, and then reinstall with the new method.
