If you are interested in measuring flexion and extension of a joint, you can zero the Goniometer, order code GNM-BTA, $159 to report both positive and negative joint angles from the starting position of the subject.

Computer Users: Select Zero from the Experiment menu.
LabQuest Users: Select Zero from the Sensor menu on the Meter Screen.

Then start data collection.
