Is there a way to automatically calculate the amplitude of the range of motion using the Goniometer

If you have the Goniometer, order code GNM-BTA, $159 you can use Logger Pro to calculate the Amplitude of the Range of Motion of the knee during each step (for running) or for each revolution (for cycling).

You will need to create a calculated column in Logger Pro. Go to the Data drop down menu and select New Calculated Column. Give this new column a proper name, short name and proper units.

We suggest ROM Amplitude for long name, AMP for short name. The units should be Angle.

Use the following expression

amplitude("Angle","Time",40,60,10)

This will return the ROM amplitude over a 10 second interval
