This information pertains to LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3.

The original LabQuest does not support this functionality.

When using the LabQuest Viewer with a LabQuest and Go Direct sensors, you may find that the list of discovered Go Direct sensors will not show up on the LabQuest Viewer’s display. This is because there is bandwidth competition between the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radios on the LabQuest with priority given to the Bluetooth device discovery. The result is that the LabQuest Viewer will likely hang when the device discovery list is shown on the LabQuest screen. Once connected, you should be able to demonstrate data collection with a sensor, but you likely will still experience some lagging with the Viewer display.

For demonstration purposes, there are two workarounds…
      1. Use the Go Direct Sensor connected to the LabQuest via USB
      2. If you are using the computer version of the LabQuest Viewer, connect your LabQuest to the Viewer via USB. (See How do I connect a LabQuest to LabQuest Viewer via USB?.)
