There are two resolutions for Rotary Motion Sensors. Low resolution and High resolution which leads to 4 times as many pulses for a given rotation. The max rotational speed is higher with the low resolution setting.

For Vernier-manufactured models (2008 and newer, order code RMV-BTD):
-Max angular speed with Low resolution setting: 30 revolutions/s
-Max angular speed with High resolution setting: 7.5 revolutions/s

For Pasco-manufactured models:
-Max angular speed with Low resolution setting: 22 revolutions/s
-Max angular speed with High resolution setting: 5 revolutions/s
