When I plug the radiation monitor into LabPro it stops working. (especially if you have been using DCU).

If you find that the radiation monitor works normally, but quits working when you start using a DCU (Digital Control Unit), it is because the DCU software is taking over the digital lines and setting them up to be used for output from the LabPro instead of input to the LabPro.

Using a radiation monitor and a DCU at the same time requires special programming to carefully set the status of the digital lines.

This note only applies if you have used the DCU programs or programs that you wrote using the digital output lines.
