Earn graduate science credit hours through the Portland State University Center for Science Education by attending one of our eligible workshops.
Attending a Vernier workshop that is four hours or longer is the first step and a required part of Portland State University Center for Science Education’s graduate course, SCI 510: Electronic Data Collection and Analysis for Science Educators.
This online course offers 2 quarter credit hours (1-1/3 semester hours) in Graduate Science. The course requirements include (but are not limited to) attending a qualifying Vernier workshop, submitting a formal write-up of an inquiry-based experiment you create, and developing, implementing, and assessing a lesson involving electronic data collection.
Portland State University is solely responsible for the course content, including grading. Course requirements are subject to change and must be completed within one calendar year of registration.
