Jake Hopkins

While working on his physics degree at Dickinson College, Jake used Vernier products as a student. He started at Vernier in 1996 when the website address still had a ~ in the URL.
Jake enjoys the quirkiness of Portland, and he loves that his children find it perfectly normal to have bees, chickens, goats, and a blacksmith shop in their neighborhood. He is a member of the Vernier Green Team, which works to find ways to lower the company’s impact on the environment, and he enjoys commuting to work by bike every day.
